Social Service organizations are usually more heavily reliant on individual donors and volunteers and have a tremendous responsibility to market to not just the consumers they serve but to those potential donors and volunteers. Their websites need to provide information to all those constituents but really focus on the "compelling need" in the community.

 
OC Partnership

The client wanted to promote their new training center, make their menu system easier to navigate and develop original content for their consumers, homeless service providers. We redesigned their website, adding photos and content that better portray their mission. We also created a website for a collaborative project they were involved in - Point In Time Orange County. We are currently working on the second iteration of their website, updating the design and functionality it to better reflect their advocacy role in the community; the new development will include a comprehensive database for operating and maintaining their email list and news updates. Highlights of our services include:

 
Reorganized the menu system, eliminating all submenus and separating out the collaborative programs (where no direct services were provided) into their own area.
Worked with program staff to help clarify the programs and services offered, who would benefit form each program and how they would apply or get more information.
Because their services are aimed at other nonprofit organizations that serve homeless populations, we help OC Partnership create a monthly profile of the agencies they assist to show potential donors the human side of the equation.
Edited content to be less formal and placed in easily readable sections.
