95% of the clients we work with on web development also need logo makeovers; if they don't realize that when they begin the web design process, they certainly do by the time it is done. Taking our cues from the corporate world, all corporations have logos that evolve with their businesses. It shouldn't be any different for nonprofit organizations. Your first logo was probably created by a volunteer or the founder of the organization and it worked really well to get you where you are today. But to really make a complete transition from "grassroots" to "professional" (and from grassroots-type funding to bigger donors) you need to make that transition with your marketing materials as well.
