Julie Damon
President
Julie developed and coordinated a unique, highly successful small business conference for people with disabilities, their families and case workers in 1995, sponsored by Irvine Valley Community College. She then obtained a Certificate in Administration of Nonprofit Programs from Cal State Long Beach in 1996 and started a nonprofit organization to help entrepreneurs with disabilities. Julie directed the organization for 7 years until it merged with a larger nonprofit organization that serves inventors.

Julie also authored a custom training manual utilized to teach both disabled individuals and rehabilitation professionals how to write a business plan and start a small business from the perspective of a person with special needs; she served on a national committee of experts in micro business development for people with disabilities through the University of Montana to assist vocational rehabilitation counselors and won regional, state, and national competitions to be named National Home-Based Business Advocate of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration in 2001.

Prior to Julie’s sojourn into the nonprofit arena, Julie worked as marketing coordinator for the MCAS El Toro’s Recreation Division, planning and implementing special events including developing marketing materials and obtaining sponsorships. She is skilled in program development, fund development, strategic planning and, of course, web development and graphic design. Julie brings her unique small business, marketing and nonprofit background to her current consulting business, E-Nomad Enterprises. She helps nonprofit organizations painlessly evolve into modern organizations embracing technology as a major tool for growth.
